My friend Linda and I attended a card class at a store called And Bear Makes 3 in Moore, Oklahoma. I have been to the store a few times and they have a lot of stamps and classes. They also sell Boyd Bears, so maybe that is where the name comes from.
The class was $31 and included making the 4 cards, all the supplies and the stamp set. This time the class was using the Penny Black In the Garden stamp set. I was really impressed with the class and I am sure Linda and I will take another one sometime in the future.
Here are the cards we made. I didn't take any supplies *okie so knows better than to do this* with me to the class. I think my ProMarkers would have done a better job of coloring the stamps. I am not sure what the markers were but they were water based. You will be seeing more projects in the future using this stamp set!
You can click on the pictures and make them bigger if you want to see better detail.
I really like this little fat cat and he reminds me of my kitties that I still miss so much.
Very cute Okie. I just got the Betsey Bluebell and two other bear sets from Penny Black to try out thanks to you. Now I will have to put these on my list.
ReplyDeletei love the cats. they are sooo cute. I need to learn how to color.
ReplyDeleteVery cute cards! You colored them perfectly despite not having your markers!

Super cute - I really like the one with the folded corner where the flower pot peaks out.
ReplyDeleteI love that stamp Okie! You did a wonderful job even without the promarkers! I love the folded one. That detail on the corner makes that card pop out!
ReplyDeleteEven though your ProMarkers may have been better, these are still adorable cards. And I love the stamps too ... can't wait to see more done with them!

These are the cutest cards!! I love all of them, but the one with the corner cut is adorable! I would love to learn how to color. I received a set of 12 Promarkers and I need lots of practice. My coloring looks kinda messy. TFS.
