My New Couch...or Lucy's New Couch

I got my new couch on Friday afternoon and I was so excited when the delivery truck pulled up. My excitment lasted about as long as it took for them to set the couch up and head out the door because as soon as they did this is what I saw........




















Yeah Lucy thought it must be like the Oklahoma land run and decided to stake her claim to the new couch. And it went on all weekend!! At least here she looks like he is loving the couch and not telling me to stay away.




















Could she look anymore comfortable? I mean come on!! Using the arm of the couch as her head rest??? I swear my BFF Karen is right and Lucy thinks she is human!! I posted on Facebook that I was so glad I had a $900 dog bed!


































But the killer picture...When I told her to get off my new couch this is the look I got from her!! I swear she is saying "go to hell bitch this is my couch!"


































She did allow me to take a nap on the couch this weekend. But of course she had to be up on the couch as well, I guess to make sure I wasn't going to stay there or something...who knows!!

    What a sweet Schnauzer! :) We have a male Schnauzer named Dexter. He likes to use the arm rest for his head too!! :)

    Petey and Bullet are the same way. You would think that on a sectional there would be enough room for 2 chihuahuas and 2 humans. Petey and Bullet don't thinks so. They hog the whole thing.

    Oh my.. your doggie looks like the terrier mix I adopted and sadly had to put to sleep 3 days before Christmas.. We miss him so much. I showed these pictures to my son who launched into his rhetoric about how we need another dog.. ( Lost two babies in two months so down from 3 dogs to 2)

    I love the couch! It does look great with Lucy on it.I have a toy poodle that also believes he is human, sometimes the way he sits "on his couch" he does look human. Oh and Okie that look Lucy is giving you....sorry but it means exactly what you think it means. I get thoes looks all the time!
