I was having problems with scallop circles, they were lopsided. I called PC on Friday and they are going to send me a new E. Well it is a good thing!! BECAUSE IT JUST BROKE! I don't mean it won't cut, or won't turn on, or the keys won't work, or anything like that.......
I MEAN IT BROKE!!
I was cutting some stuff for Valentines cards and was watching it like I usually watch my Cricut cut and I noticed the blade housing was kinda swaying. The more I watched it the more the housing swayed!!
So after it finishes I thought I would take out the blade housing and see if something odd was going on.....I unscrewed the little thing AND IT BROKE!! JUST CAME OFF IN MY HAND!!

When I was cutting for a LO earlier I noticed the cuts were kinda odd in some places, corners were kinda rounded instead of sharp. Guess I should have looked closer then. I just wasted a piece of my precious Mica cardstock!!

oh okie, that is so sad, i bet you are stamping your feet and everything! i am so pleased they are sending you another right away. In an attempt to cheer you up ( like this will actually cheer you up...i must be mad, i cannot compare to the E!!!) but i am going to try!!..... ReplyDeleteMine is playing up today too, keeps stopping, so I have gone throught the old switch it off switch it on, reset button, SCREAM, SHOUT, stamp my feet and at all seemed to make it work. lol.
BOO HOO FOR YOU!! Thank goodness another E is on the way - well, you can do wonders with the baby bug so go to it girl!

ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear you are having such problems with your new E! Sounds like the issues I had when I got my cuttlebug in the mail after waiting 4 weeks to finally get it. Thank Goodness Provo Craft is so good with customer service. I hope your new E arrives safe and sound.

ReplyDeleteYou are not alone, I had the problem of the "black arms" wobbling and not cutting right.(2/08) when I bought my E,it didn't break like yours did thou. Though PC would have fixed this problem by now.

ReplyDeleteI was going to suggest you fix it with Gorilla super glue but I'm glad they are sending you a new one, keep that in mind when it is out of warrenty though!
