I have had this paper, Raspberry Tart, for a few years and have used it sparingly *okie thinks she's really gotta stop doing that* but I think I still have enough to make another set of cards out of it.
I love the pink and green colors on this one! I used my Stampin Up Tag Punches to do the sentiment. I kept wondering how to add a sentiment and I think this one worked out nicely with the ribbon and bow.
I had to play around with the placement of the flowers as the light and medium colors were getting washed out in different areas but after a few moves I was able to get them placed where they still stood out in the monochromatic colors of the paper strips across the card *okie wonders if sometimes she just doesn't keep typing chit so she has something to say about the stuff she makes*.
I am not sure what the punch is called that I used to make the flower centers. I got it at a sale and I know it is a retired Stampin Up punch and it punched all three of the larger decorative centers.
I added some Diamond Stickles to the flower centers to dress them up a little and it seemed to add just the right amount of sparkle to the card without making it too blingy *okie notices that her spell correct doesn't like the word blingy and thinks a crafter needs to get in there and add words to the spell check*.
Not sure if ya'll noticed so I will point it out...I went out on a limb and didn't ink the edges! *okie hears the gasps throughout the room* I KNOW! Sometimes you just gotta live on the edge!
pretty papers, pretty card!
