I think some of ya'll might remember my cherry phase I went through when I wanted any and all the cherry stamps, paper and anything else I could find! I still love the cherries but try not to saturate my blog with them but I thought it was time to do another cherry card.
Supplies Used:
Cricut Expressions
Cricut Preserves cart
Cricut Storybook cart
Close To My Heart A Typeface stamps
Various Cardstock
Gingham Ribbon
Stampin Up Ink
Paper Studio Swirl Stamp
I think I like cherries so much because they are red, which is my favorite color, but for some reason they just make me want to smile. I do know I used some Prism carstock for the stems and cherries. You can see the background stamp a little better in this picture.
I did the inside sentiment with Hallmark Studio and found a nice little border that went well with the card. I like the stamps that I used on the front of the card but I think it would have looked better if I had used red ink instead of blue, but what's done is done.
You inspire me to play with paper more, Okie. I agree with you, these cherries are just plain cheerful!
