I was sitting at home at Christmas enjoying some Hurricane Punch and I thought it would be a good idea to craft....don't think I need to do that again!
Supplies Used:
Stampin Up Whimsical Words (retired)
Stampin Up Marker
Stampin Up cardstock
Stampin Up 2 3/8" Scallop Punch
Petaloo's
Tim Holtz Vintage Shabby
Grosgrain Ribbon
Imaginesce heat set pearls
I used the earring jacket I talked about in an earlier post for the flower center. It makes the card where it won't be able to go through the regular mail but since I usually just give my cards away anyway I guess I wasn't concerned about it when I made the card.
I really did think this card looked nice when I was making it and then when I woke up the next morning...well...not so much!!
I think it is a very pretty card. I love the colors. Did you use a real earring for the center of the white pearl like flower?
ReplyDeleteI love your Hurricane punch inspired card and just wanted to let you know I always enjoy reading your post, I don't often leave a comment but wanted you to know how much I appreciate your inspiration and your humor!! Wishing you a fabulous New Year!!

What are you talking about? This is a great card! It's actually very shabby chic! I love the pearls and the colors.... You should try crafting and drinking together a little more often! You never know what fun projects you'll come up with! Tehehehehe
ReplyDeleteWOW ... even with a HURRICANE ... your cards turn out awesome! I really like it!

What did I miss? What's wrong with the card? Looks great to me...
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, love your blog so much!!
I think this card is so cute! I love the color scheme!
ReplyDeleteWell, I can't make that nice a card when I'm stone sober! So envious of your artistic creativity, not to mention your razor wit. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat card !!!

i think you did a good job. i like the drunken card. i look forward to reading your blog every evening after work. keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the other comments...this a very cute card!
ReplyDeleteI love this card! That being said, sometimes I think we are not always the best judge of our own work! I am constantly surprised by the response I get to cards that I have made that I think are horrible.
ReplyDeleteI really do like this card!!
ReplyDeleteMaybe that is what I need to make better projects - an adult beverage!
ReplyDeleteYeah, this is too cute, Hurricane and all! Maybe you should post the recipe for the rest of us... you know, for a little crafty inspiration!!
ReplyDeleteThis is a very pretty card. Beautiful colors.
ReplyDeleteI, too, would love to know what "Hurricane Punch" is. Soundsf like something I need to add to my crafting supplies. LOL
