Walmart and were able to get Cricut Lite cartridges for $22.50! I don't have a Menard's here but thought I would pass on the information. Here is the link to the ad, MENARDS AD, but you will probably have to have the original ad in order to get the price match! The ad runs from 9/5 to 9/12.Good luck, and happy shopping my Cricut friends!!

OMG! THANK YOU so much for posting that. I choose to not shop at WalMart BUT I do have a Menards close by and had no idea that they sold Cricut cartridges, let alone on sale for that price!!

ReplyDeleteI thought the Lite cartridges were exclusive to Wal Mart. Too bad we don't have anywhere else in OK to get them because I sure don't want to pay WM $39 for them!

ReplyDeleteI went to Menard's and got one cartridge that I didn't have (I wasn't sure but when I got home I didn't have Stretch you Imagination.) That doesn't mean I have too many does it???
Then I went to Walmart and got two Lite cartridges. I didn't want to go two nuts but I might go back. Hee Hee. Do you really like Flourish? I didn't get it but that might be the one I go back for. I got Meow and Bloom. I already have B is for Boy, which I love.

ReplyDeleteThank you so much for posting this tip on the Menards sale. They only had a few older cartridges on sale, but Walmart did honor the Menard's ad! WooHoo! I am so glad I showed restraint when the lite carts originally came out! You just can't beat $22.50! Menards price on the Expression was $178 which is also one of the cheapest prices I have seen. Many thanks for the tip, I never would have thought of taking the ad to Wal-mart!
ReplyDeleteAfter I saw this, I hurried to Menard's and got the Stretch your Imagination cartridge and then went to Walmart and got the Celebrate with Flourish cartridge. What a great deal! I can;t wait to see what cartridges walmart has on sale for black friday!

ReplyDeleteMy WalMart did not honor the price match - even when I mentioned how many other stores were. I got a rude "well, they are doing something they shouldn't be doing". Now I remember why I prefer Target.

I was told that since the lite carts are sold only at Walmart they WILL NOT price match and any store that does will be making up the discount difference on their own.

I saw in the computer the other day at work (I work at Menards) that there are another 10-15 skus of cricut carts that we are going to be getting in :) Newer ones like Tie the Knot, Preserves etc. And.. I'm thinking we'll have something Cricut Related for Black Friday too...
