I'M STUCK!! And I have been for days! I started this card I believe on Sunday and this mess you see in the picture has been sitting like that ever since then! I can't seem to put it together how I want to and until I finish it I can't go on!!
Okay granted I haven't spent much time trying to figure it out since I have been busy with work and helping my neighbor but still! SERIOUSLY?? 4 DAYS AND THE DAMN THING ISN'T DONE?? I had great intentions last night but paperwork, or lack of being able to complete the paperwork, kept me from even touching it. Hopefully I can get it done tonight after completing paperwork!! I am so ready to move on to something else!!
So bloggies.....does this ever happen to you??
Oh Okie, does it ever!!! I am in a similar situation. I have a card challenge due today and I haven't gotten anywhere close to being finished. I did get the base cut. Some people think I am ADD or easily distracted. I consider myself SERIOUSLY FOCUSED (usually on something other than what I need to be).
ReplyDeleteHave a great day.

Yes, all the time. I just walk away from it for a few days and then go back to it. I usually get my MOJO back.
ReplyDeleteHell yes!!!
ReplyDeleteIt happens all the time to me...it is so frustrating. I see all the great things others come up with, I get all inspired to create something equally beautiful...and *Wah Wah Wah*...I got nothin'! I think I just need to spend more time crafting so I can get my mojo rolling....
ReplyDeleteI feel your pain!
I am so glad that I am not the only person this happens to. It is so aggrevating that I usually end up changing the whole thing.
ReplyDeleteOakie I have Scrappers Block since 2wks ago and can't seem to be inspired. Sad thing is I have a craftroom and all its been doing is collecting dust.... :( Yes it happens. I'll pray extra hard for the both of us...LOL
ReplyDeleteAll the time mostly on scrapbook pages though. From what I can see it is way cute!
ReplyDeleteOh yeah. I think I have the perfect design or at least it was perfect when I was laying in bed thinking about it. Then finally you are able to get to the craft room and nothing. It doesn't look at what I had wanted it to. Then I sit and sit trying to figure out something else.
ReplyDeleteGuilty as charged. I checkout blogs to get some inspiration, then I check out MB's, then I might read about a new "must have" product so of course I have to research it, then I realize I have a cart I haven't even touched. By the time I get started, I look at the clock and go "oh crap" NOW I'm on a roll and its past my bedtime, lol. It happens all the time. Good luck finishing that card! Mary M
ReplyDeleteMan oh man YES!!! I just add ribbon and go on from there ;) Good luck

Oh yes! it does happen, hate to tell you, but you are just normal!!!
ReplyDeleteBeen there and done that several million times over! It's the worst when I have too much on my mind and heart. Gotta let some of that stuff go before I can get back on track again.
ReplyDeleteOkie, this happens to me all the time. I am new to the paper craft world, so I have a REALLY hard time, but am working very hard to come up with things. It appears to me that there is a finished card on your table above the stamp set. It looks great to me!:) TFS.

Better question: When DOESN'T it happen to me? I have several piles I just can't bring myself to finish. Ugh!
ReplyDeleteNOPE, that NEVER happens to me. When I get an idea -- I walk into my "clean" craftroom, sit down at my "clean" desk, w/ all of my materials (that I've been able to find) in front of me and I set to work and then finish what I started!!
ReplyDeleteYeah, right!!! In what dream world??!! LOL LOL LOL
Real answer:- Yep!!! :-)
Definitely!! Who hasn't? But from what I can see, this card looks pretty good so far. You'll figure it out and I am sure it will be beautiful when it is done.Love the paper/color combo you are using.

YES it DOES! And not to worry...if you put it off to the side for a little while it will come back to you... (I promise) :) I've done that too many times to count..... but from what I see it looks pretty darn good already... :) don't worry your Mojo will be on top of those cards in noooo time flat and you will show us ALL an amazing card in the next couple of days! :) SEE I HAVE FAITH IN YA! :)
ReplyDeletelike... right now I have one, no 2 that need to be finished, I even have one in my head that has not made it's way to paper, but it will!
ReplyDeletetoo much laundry, yard work and running with the kid...and the weather is lovely!
good luck with yours, I'm sure it will be great!

Of course! As a matter of fact, I have a "fabric" card started and I had to go get some 5x7 envies so the card would be big enough! YOU ARE NOT ALONE!

Constantly, to the point that if my projects didn't go this way I'd think I was doing something wrong. Guess I'm just a "slow thinker".
ReplyDeleteyou can do it! I have faith in you!
ReplyDeletei'm sure a GYPSY would help you out!

Oh Okie, I do know how you feel. I had a brilliant idea for a card months ago. I cut everything out, inked things etc. etc. etc. The pieces are still sitting in my spare room. I'VE GOT TO GET THE DAMN THING DONE!!!! Today is the day.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to MY world! I wrestle with putting together colors, etc. all the time! LOL!

I currently have four projects that need to be worked on and completed. Do ya think I could even get to one of them...heck no! And then when I do finally get to it, I'll look at it and say "What was I thinking?" and re-do the whole thing. Vicious cycle!
ReplyDeleteYES! And thanks for bringing it up and allowing others to commiserate. Oh, I hate being stuck. It makes me feel so unfinished myself. I've had a few STUCKS this week and there they sit.
ReplyDeleteI'm still figuring out how to get federal disaster aid for my scrap area! And now my 12 year old daughter has become quite the card maker, so double the mess!! Oh well, it's a creative mess!!!
