Hey everyone! Welcome to my very first Fab Friday Video tutorial for the Cuttlebug Challenge! Since I did glass etching in my project for this week I decided to do a tutorial on how easy it is to etch glass. I have been using Armour Etching cream for a few years now but since getting my Cricut the detail and designs are so much better!
To make a candle holder of your own you will need the following supplies:
Glass candle holder
Armour Etching cream
Vinyl
Paintbrush
Cricut cuts of your choice. Mickey Font, Don Juan, Stretch Your Imagination were used for this project.
Without further ado here is the video tutorial on glass etching.
If you guys have ideas for future Fab Friday videos please let me know! I could always use a good idea!
Love the video...... I was very intrigued listening to your voice as I'm a Georgia girl and have a strong accent myself....LOL

Nice video.
ReplyDeleteYou make it look so easy! I am going to try this. I have had armour etch sitting on the shelf and have have never used it (I must admit that I like to buy and buy and never open stuff). Thanks Okie for doing this video!!
ReplyDeleteGreat video!! I've tried etching a couple of times. Wasn't real good at it. Will have to give it a try again. Thanks for doing this video!!! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the video Okie! You made it look soooo super easy! I hope it is that easy! :) I've had my etching cream & vinyl for awhile and haven't tried it before...so I'm gonna have to run to the store and get some things to try this on! Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the video! I am kind of a chicken when it comes to trying new things. I can get stuck in my rut. I will try this for sure. You made it seem like a snap :o)
ReplyDeleteAs for ideas, I would be a happy camper if you would make a video tutorial on how you alter those BE purses you purchased. I can NEVER get anything I alter to turn out well. Thanks!
Thank You So Very Very Very Much For Making This Video!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have a small jar of the same cream and have been wanting to try some etching but I wasn't for sure how to do it. You really make it look so easy! Now that you have gotten me inspired maybe I'll go and try it!
ReplyDeleteThank You
Jill
Thanks for this video. I can't wait to try it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the link to the video. Got all the way through it to hear that tempered glass won't etch. Oh, I hope I can get this to work on Anchor Hocking! Otherwise, I will be scrambling for 7 new gift ideas!
