Simple Card using Winter Woodland

Hey guys this is it! This is my week to be one of the guest designers for Christmas With The Cricut. I am so excited to be a guest designer. I can't tell you how thrilled I was to be invited by Tammy, Joy and Melanie. Joining me this week is Barb aka Snowmanlover. Be sure to check out her project at Snowmanlover's Paperie.

For today the assignment was a simple card with a video tutorial. This was my first try at making a video so ya'll don't laugh to hard at me *okie swears she will smack anyone who does*. I was assigned to use Winter Woodland and Mini Monograms on my projects. I know the Seasons Greetings card may look complicated but it really isn't. And the good thing is if you want to make it and have Design Studio and Winter Woodland and Mini Monograms you can make the card. The cut file is set to cut 4. I did use the 12x12 mat feature but if you have a baby bug you should be able to just move the elements around to fit the 6x12 mat for the baby bug.

I used Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses for the patterned paper and Stardream Mica cardstock for the bird and sentiment.

    You're great Hour voice is fine. No one likes their own voice. I think you are funny. I would love to see more videos from you. The cut files are amazing. I really appreciate the time it takes you to make all those cut files. Keep up the good work!

    Thanks for the recommendation on the Scotch glue too, i've seen it, but always wondered if it would make the paper bubble..now i'll give it a go!

    Okie - Congrats on your video debut! You did an awesome job, and your card is gorgeous!
    I think your voice sounds fine - different from what I expected, though - I think I expected more of a southern accent - lol!
    Great to hear your voice - I hope you get into this video making thing so we can see more of how your cards and projects come together!

    Love the video, and there is nothing wrong with your voice. Beautiful card :) Love all the details. I love that glue, it is one my favorite adhesives. When I want to make sure my die cuts are together good, I use a wallpaper seam roller and roll over them once they are all together. It gets all the air bubbles out and makes them lay down flat.
